She is the most evil queen alive. She is the widow of Scar. Zira is the mother of Nuka, Vitani. During the film and as Kovu grows up she trains him to be a killer machine and fills his heart with hate towards the Pridelanders. But fortunately Kovu does not like this, afterwards, he betrays Zira's pride and goes over to Simba's pride. Zira is not a good mother. Nuka doesn't get much attention from her, only Kovu is on her mind, and perhaps Vitani also a bit. She is killed at the end of the movie trying to save herself from falling down into the waterfall.
